Hawaii reports more than 100 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths May 3, 2021 GMT HONOLULU (AP) Health officials in Hawaii have reported 113 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases across the state on Sunday, increasing the statewide total to more than 32,500 infections since the pandemic began early last year. The Hawaii Department of Health said there were no virus-related deaths, keeping the statewide total at 483 deaths, including 374 fatalities on Oahu. The report includes cases reported to the department on Friday, officials said. There were 80 reported cases in Honolulu County, 16 in Maui County, nine in Kauai County, three in Hawaii County and five residents diagnosed outside the state, health officials said. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported that one previous case appears to have been removed from the state’s tally.
