Michigan man dies after end-over-end snowmobile crash Updated Jan 12, 2021; ROYAL OAK, MI – A 55-year-old man is dead after crashing his snowmobile into several trees, causing an end-over-end flip that ejected him from the vehicle. Richard David Dufty, of Cassville, succumbed to his injuries on Jan. 8 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Dufty’s death represents the fourth fatal snowmobile crash in Michigan this winter, according to a news release from the Department of Natural Resources.
