WASHINGTON, Feb. 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Freespira, Inc., maker of the first FDA-cleared digital therapeutic to significantly reduce or eliminate symptoms of panic attacks, panic disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in only 28 days, today announced that Highmark Inc. is expanding access to Freespira to its membership throughout Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia. The expansion of the partnership, will include the addition of remote coaching on the use of the Freespira device for members not connected to a trained behavioral health professional.

Tuesday marks the final day to sign up for health insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act marketplace open enrollment for coverage in 2021. In most cases, the open enrollment period is the only chance to get coverage through the health insurance marketplace until 2022, although certain qualifying events, such as a loss of job-based coverage, could make an individual eligible at other times of the year, according to Jeremy Smith, program director for the non-profit enrollment assistance group WV Navigator.
