Show Transcript IT’S LUCKY. NO ONE WAS HURT. FIRE OFFICIALS SAY LOCAL POLICE ON PATROL THOUGHT THEY SAW HEA LIGHTNING GIVEN HOW THE SKY JUST LIT UP. IT WAS ACTUALLY AN EXPLOSION THAT HAPPENED INSIDE A GARAGE ON HAGUE AVENUE IN SALEM. THEY ARRIVED ON SCENE. TH FOUND A ONE-STALL GARAGE CLOSE TO A SINGLE FAMILY RANCH STYLE HOME WAS WELL INVOLVED IN FIRE UP ON THEIR ARRIVAL AUTHORITIES SAY PEOPLE REPORTED HEARING THE BLAST IS IS PELHAM AND THE MASSACHUSETTS LINE ABOUT 26 FIREFIGHTERS WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE AND THE FIRE WAS BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL IN ABOUT AN HOUR THE TWO PEOPLE WHO WERE HOME AT THE TIME WERE ABLE TO GET OUT SAFELY. NOBODY WAS HURT AND AUTHORITIES SAY GIVEN THE CIRCU

A large storage container at a home in Salem, New Hampshire caught fire following reports of a loud explosion shortly before 8:30p.m. Sunday night.
