Regarding “Biden’s plans boost Texas energy jobs that will prevent climate disasters” (A13, Jan. 30): Sen. Ted Cruz and a group of his GOP colleagues have criticized President Joe Biden for signing an executive order to have the United States rejoin the Paris climate agreement.
Notably, all national commitments in the agreement are voluntary, and individual nations determine the ambition and design of their own climate plans.

HALES CORNERS, Wis. Dentists say the coronavirus pandemic has scared a lot of people away from their offices.
“In the beginning, patients were pretty nervous,” said Dr. Katie Satula, owner of Satula Family Dental in Hales Corners.
A new study by NextSmileDental.com surveyed 4,500 patients and found nearly two-thirds of Wisconsinites have delayed their routine dental checkups.
That’s not a good thing, according to Satula.
“By getting your six-month checkups, we’re looking for anything along the lines of oral cancer screening that can come up, to small cavities, to changes in your gum tissue and oral health,” Satula said.

CALUMET On Thursday, January 7, 2021, Theodore Nedward Rouse, loving husband, father of four children and beloved pastor, went to meet Jesus at the age of 68.
Theodore was born on November 1, 1952, in Calumet to Bernard and Eleanor (Picard) Rouse. He attended MATC in Milwaukee, where he met and married his wife, Doreen Mary Corbine. They were young and in love and they were married at the ages of 18 and 19 years old.
After having two daughters, Theodore felt the call of God on his life and he attended and graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1981. He then went into full time ministry, became an associate Pastor, began traveling in tent evangelism ministry and soon settled down to plant a church in Ironwood. Three years later in 1987, with three children and a fourth on the way, he moved back to Milwaukee and planted and pastored Faith’s Creation Church for over 33 years. Theodore loved to preach and teach the Bible. His heart’s desire was leading people
