29-YEAR-OLD Katie Jarvis faces charges of assault and racially aggravated harassment, it has been reported.
According to prosecutor Ashley Petchey, the actress of South Street, Rainham in Essex became involved in a number of altercations on July 31, 2020.
Petchey said Jarvis is alleged to have shouted “black lives don’t matter anyway” and “I’m a celebrity”.
Jarvis is best known for her role of Hayley Slater in the soap
Eastenders from 2108-2019. Her lawyer says she was a victim who acted in self-defence.
Jarvis faces charges of assault, racially aggravated harassment, using threatening words or behaviour to cause distress, assault by beating a woman and assault by beating an 11-year-old girl.
