Moyne Shire Council Provides Boost For 5 Young Students
Five students from across the Moyne Shire have been successful in their application for an annual Moyne Shire Council’s Academic Support Scholarship, receiving $2,000 towards their first year of tertiary study.
The recipients are Tess Harris and Grace Moloney from The Sisters, Hayley Mann from Hexham, Ella Titmus from Wangoom, and Brae Todd from Macarthur.
Moyne Shire Mayor, Cr Daniel Meade said that the scholarships provide financial support to rural students as they begin tertiary studies.
“Council’s Academic Support Scholarships have been running for twenty-three years now, assisting students from within the shire to pursue their academic goals,” Cr Meade said.
