+ Looking for a Lady with Fangs and a Moustache, Khyentse Norbu’s new film from South Asia will be released in North America. The director’s past films (The Cup, Travellers And Magicians, Vara A Blessing) have played Sundance, Cannes, Toronto, Venice and other top film festivals. Looking for a Lady with Fangs and a Moustache, which had its global premiere at the 17th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), was also an official selection of the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. Abramorama acquired the acquisition of world rights for the Nepali production, Looking for a Lady with Fangs and a Moustache and plan to release it this spring, in April. The film is executive produced by Olivia Harrison, produced by Max Dipesh Khatri, and features cinematography by Mark Lee Ping-bing (In the Mood for Love).

From khyentsefoundation.org The renowned Bhutanese lama, filmmaker, and author Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche has announced new live-streamed public teachings on “Vipassana,” to be held on 26–27 December. The teachings, being organized by Siddhartha’s Intent Taiwan, Siddhartha’s Intent Japan, Buddha Pada (Kalimpong, India), Jamyang Khyenpa (Bhutan), and the Bhrikuti Devi Trust (Nepal), will be conducted Tibetan, with simultaneous translation into Chinese, English, Japanese, and Nepali.  The finalized schedule and streaming links will be announced and shared soon.
