A Norwich woman has paid tribute to her husband - almost one year after he succumbed to Covid-19, making him one of the first few people to die with the virus in Norfolk.
Annie Henriques husband Stuart Goodman (a former Fleet Street photographer) was 72 when he passed away, just 10 days after England was plunged into its first lockdown.
Additional heartache was to follow. While planning Stuart s small, socially-distanced funeral, Annie was back in the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital in mid-May, praying her son Adam wouldn t also yield to Coronavirus. He was on the verge of needing ventilation, she said. It was a terrible time.

Hackney residents marched across the borough over the weekend and drenched the Town Hall steps in black liquid, calling for an end to its investments in fossil fuels.
The protest on May 22, organised by Extinction Rebellion (XR) and supported by grassroots group Divest Hackney, saw large numbers of people march for the climate, urging the Hackney Council Pension Fund to fully divest from fossil fuels.
Local XR campaigner, Joe Coroneo-Seaman said: “This is just the beginning. There’s simply too much at stake for Hackney council to continue to pour millions into companies that are actively putting profit before the lives of millions of people across the globe.

Some Hackney residents like forager and legend Jonathan Cook, more commonly known as John The Poacher, took advantage of the recent lifting of some Covid restrictions by visiting a local pub.
John, who lives near Springfield Gardens in Upper Clapton and has lived in Hackney for 38 years, said: “I thought I would drop in and have a pint at [Hackney Tap]. It’s nice to have a pint that’s on draught rather than having to have it out of bottles or cans.”
Jonathan Cook, known as John The Poacher, stopped by the newly opened Hackney Top to have a pint.
