California business groups are blasting a state agency s proposal to require vaccinated employees to keep wearing masks in the workplace.
The California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board (Cal/OSHA) is set to meet Thursday to consider new workplace rules that would permit workers to take off their masks only if everyone in the vicinity has been vaccinated against COVID-19, the Associated Press reported. More than five dozen business organizations wrote a letter to the board and called the proposed rules an inconsistent standard.
