The wife of Dennis “Rooster” Katona, the former national president of the Pagans Motorcycle Club, said Wednesday neither she nor her husband knows why Victor F. Steban repeatedly mentioned Rooster’s name as Steban was arraigned Tuesday in the shooting deaths of a Penn Township couple.
“We don’t know Victor Steban, never met him and have no link to him. We want the public to know we simply do not know this guy,” said Shari Katona of Hempfield.
And, she said, they don’t know why Steban may have shot at their home over the weekend.

The brother of a overdose victim in North Huntingdon was one of two men arrested Monday on charges of helping his sister buy a dose of heroin-fentanyl that killed her Jan. 12, according to court documents.
Forrest G. Piper Jr., 49, of West Newton, the brother of Iona J. Runkle, 46, was arraigned on charges of drug delivery resulting in death filed by township police and ordered to jail after failing to post $25,000 bond.
The other man, Jason A. Lewis, 48, of Boston, was arrested hours before Piper Monday. He was ordered held in the county prison without bond because he was considered a risk to the community with pending drug-related charges including reckless endangerment filed by Murrysville police in a March 9 overdose incident there, according to court papers filed before Harrison City District Judge Helen Kistler.

A Penn Township man is charged with assaulting and threatening his brother and refusing to surrender to police for two hours, according to court documents.
Robert R. Milburn Jr., 60, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of harassment, resisting arrest, simple assault and making terroristic threats. The reported incident happened about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at a residence in the 500 block of Sunset Drive that Milburn shares with his younger brother, Larry, 58, according to court documents.
Sgt. Joseph Lewis said police were dispatched to the home for a report that Larry Milburn fled the residence after Robert threw a hot microwave dinner on him, went into a bedroom to retrieve a firearm and was threatening to shoot him.
