ACROSS AMERICA Most of you boys and girls out there understand the Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus you see in the malls and elsewhere are just stand-ins because the real deals are busy at the North Pole loading the sleigh and fueling up the reindeer, right?
The coronavirus pandemic has made it an interesting year for the proxies of Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Songs by Henry Turner Jr. & Flavor include I m Going Down to the Mardi Gras and the Baton Rouge Theme Song. The film covers the history of the festival from its founding up to present. âMusic Dreams ⦠An American Story,â a documentary about Baton Rouge musician Henry Turner Jr. and the Flavor band, is part of Food Film Musicâs Be Thankful virtual screening series.
The series runs through Dec. 31. Food Film Music is a storytelling showcase for films about the human experience, according to a news release. Virtual Pop Up Cinema was formed so patrons can watch movies in the comfort of your own home until it is safe return to the big screen experience, the release also says.
Included in the Turner film are musical performances, as well as interviews with band and family members, club owners, musicians, filmmakers and national and regional entertainment executives.
