The Columbus Crew has a significant history of “firsts.” The original MLS club, the first soccer specific stadium in the United States, the first team to be saved by a fan movement. The Crew will set out to achieve another first in 2021. No MLS team has ever won the current version of the CONCACAF Champions League and the Black & Gold will aim to do so this year.
The Champions League is home to the best teams in CONCACAF and has representatives from every nation in the region. As MLS Cup champions, the Black & Gold return to the competition after a 10-year absence.

BRACKETTVILLE, Texas A fast-moving fire destroyed three homes on Fort Clark Springs in Brackettville on Tuesday.
Tim Ward, chief of the Kinney County Volunteer Fire Department, said he was at his home a few miles away when he saw the smoke.
“There was a huge black funnel cloud over Fort Clark,” Ward said. “I knew at that time we had a serious fire going on.”
Dashcam video from the Kinney County Sheriff’s Office shows the moment deputies arrived on the scene around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
