AVON, Ind. An Indianapolis woman was arrested in Avon early Sunday after police say she tried to run over another woman with her vehicle during a domestic altercation.
Shamika Bausley, 42, is in the Hendricks County Jail on a preliminary charge of attempted manslaughter.
The other woman was not injured.
According to Avon police, Bausley was recorded on surveillance video as she attempted to drive into the other woman on Solidago Drive on the south side of Avon Saturday night.

CLAYTON, Ind. (WISH) A man and woman from California are facing felony charges after Indiana State Police found $2 million worth of meth and fentanyl in their van Monday afternoon.
Troopers pulled over Ester Osegueda, 32, of Porteville, and Adam Lopez, 27, of Tulare, for unusual lane movement at the State Road 39 interchange with Interstate 70 near Clayton.
While talking to Osegueda and Lopez, troopers noticed “criminal indicators,” which led to a search of the Chrysler van Osegueda was driving. The search uncovered 134 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 90 pounds of fentanyl in the van’s cargo area.
The narcotics came from Memphis, Tennessee, and were intended for Indianapolis, according to ISP.
About $2 Million Worth of Narcotics Seized in Hendricks County Traffic Stop
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind.–Nearly $2 million worth of narcotics were seized during a traffic stop in Hendricks County Monday afternoon.
State police say they stopped a Chrysler van on I-70 near Clayton for “unsafe lane movement” around 1:30 pm. After speaking with the both passenger and driver, they searched the van.
During that search, police say they found 134 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and 90 pounds of fentanyl “concealed in the cargo area.”
Troopers identified the driver as Ester Osegueda, 32, of Porteville, California. They have identified the passenger as Adam Lopez, 27, of Tulare, California.
