As per CSO s first advance estimates, the ratio of gross fixed capital formation to GDP, at current prices, is expected to decline to 24.2 per cent for fiscal year 2021, the lowest since FY96. Moreover, these are likely to witness its sharpest fall of around 270 basis points over last year. Measured on constant prices, the investment-to-GDP ratio is expected to fall to a 16-year low of 27.6 per cent.
