The state government imposed a temporary suspension on its use, says FDA Minister Rajendra Shingane. The incident took place on Thursday in three hospitals in the district. The patients who were administered Remdesivir manufactured by the company Hetero Drugs had complained of side-effects, Shingane told IANS. The shocking incident came to light when some patients developed chills and others complained of varying degrees of fever or other issues which were immediately addressed by the district medical authorities. The situation is under control and the condition of all the patients is stable now. There is no cause for worry, the minister assured.
