There were dozens of new cases reported over the Easter long weekend in the Oxford and Elgin counties region as the area’s active case count topped 100 for the first time in weeks.
Southwestern public health reported 63 new cases of COVID-19 between Friday and Monday. With 38 recoveries reported during the same period, the active case count in the region climbed to 115. There were 90 active cases reported in the region on Thursday.
