Hyundai will take the wraps off the Alcazar on April 6. Essentially a longer Creta with three rows of seating, the Alcazar could be one of the most affordable three-row SUVs in its segment compared to the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus. The carmaker has offered us a sneak peek into the production-spec Alcazar ahead of its debut. Here are five things you need to know about the upcoming SUV:
Exterior
The front profile is similar to the Creta’s, but with minor differences, like that of a chrome studded grille and a new bumper. The Alcazar is, of course, longer than the Creta, thanks to the extra third row. It also seems to come with larger 18-inch alloy wheels for a better stance. Much like the Harrier-based Safari, the Alcazar’s rear is upright, with conventional split LED tail lamps.

Hyundai is all set to join the pickup party with its Santa Cruz. In addition to teasing the car, Hyundai has also announced that it will debut globally on April 15. For those unfamiliar with the car, it was first revealed as a concept in 2015 at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Notice the parametric design on the grille, the shape of the LED headlights, and just the overall appearance of the front of the car? Pretty sure it reminds you of the 2022 Tucson. At the rear, it gets hammer-shaped LED tail lights and big ‘SANTA CRUZ’ lettering on the tailgate which opens up to the open flatbed.
