McAuliffe is seen in three-quarter view on the obverse of the coin, while the reverse of the coin shows a group of high school students looking up at the stars, with McAuliffe depicted as a teacher and pointing upward to the star-filled heavens. The reverse also carries the special inscriptions “I TOUCH THE FUTURE. I TEACH.” These words, hearkening to McAuliffe’s background as a teacher, speak to her dreams of inspiring the young to pursue futures in science and technology.

Maker’s Mark owner Beam Suntory saw e-commerce grow exponentially throughout 2020 and will look to capitalise on increasing demand for online sales beyond the pandemic, according to the company’s CEO.
Beam Suntory CEO Albert Baladi said e-commerce provides a “long-term opportunity”
As lockdown measures were enforced to stem the spread of Covid-19, with bars ordered to close and consumers told to stay home, imbibers turned to online shopping.
Beam Suntory said the move online has presented “unexpected opportunities” for the producer.
CEO Albert Baladi said: “For instance, from on-premise to off-premise, aided by platforms such as e-commerce, [sales] have grown exponentially. E-commerce and home delivery are now allowed in many parts of India, where they were banned only a few months ago.

Maker’s Mark owner Beam Suntory has appointed former Diageo executive Heather Boyd to the newly created role of managing director for its ready-to-drink business in the US.
Heather Boyd will join Beam Suntory on 4 January 2021
In the new position, Boyd will manage Beam Suntory’s ready-to-drink (RTD) businesses in the US and continue to build the firm’s RTD capabilities and offerings. The appointment is effective from 4 January 2021.
“Heather will be key to leading our growing RTD spirits business, seizing on the rapidly growing RTD spirits space, and driving our goal to become the industry leader,” said Greg Hughes, president of Beam Suntory North America.
