Early Release Times Set At Hillsboro ISD The last day of school at Hillsboro Independent School District is Wednesday, May 26, and an early release schedule has been set. Release times Wednesday will be as follows: Franklin Elementary School - 12:30 p.m.; Hillsboro Elementary School - 12:35 p.m.; Hillsboro Intermediate School - 12:40 p.m.; Hillsboro Junior High School - 12:40 p.m.; Hillsboro High School - 12:40 p.m. Graduation for Hillsboro s Class of 2021 will be held at Eagle Field beginning at 8 p.m. Friday.

This week in 1890, the Highland News reported that commencement exercises were conducted at the New Lexington High School (current location of Highland, Ohio), and “four more of our young people have launched their barks out upon the stream of life.”
Three SW Missouri student archers make Academic All-American Team

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) recognized nine Missouri student archers in the Missouri National Archery in the Schools Program (MoNASP) who made the 2021 National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Academic All-American Team. Two of which came from Lamar Middle School and one from Carl Junction High School.
MDC congratulated the following Missouri student archers on the 2021 NASP® Academic All-American Team who not only excelled on the range, but who were also recognized by their school for proficiency in the classroom:
