Ricky Skerritt.
Ricky Skerritt was returned unopposed as president of Cricket West Indies (CWI) along with vice-president Dr Kishore Shallow at the regional governing body s annual general meeting (AGM), held virtually, on Sunday. They will serve a second two-year term, which will last until March 2023.
Both Skerritt and Dr Shallow were both officially elected after their respective rivals Anand Sanasie, Honorary Secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board, and his running mate Barbadian CWI director Calvin Hope, announced on April 1 that they were withdrawing from the contest.
The AGM was first scheduled for May 28, but the representatives from the Guyana Cricket Board and the Barbados Cricket Association did not turn up for the virtual meeting, leaving the meeting short of the required quorum of nine. All of the territorial board member associations were fully represented.
