Laura McGoldrick is back on the 3pm Pick-Up after giving birth to her baby boy Teddy!
The mum of two revealed on air that she had to give birth during the Covid-19 lockdown earlier this year - giving her son one of the more 2021 birth stories.

Newshub host Mike McRoberts was visibly emotional when his colleagues surprised him with a tribute to him and his journalistic career.
The reporter and 6pm news anchor was today the subject of a touching on-screen tribute by his colleagues to mark his 20 years working at Three.
Through a retrospective of his career on video, the news host and journalist got to relive some highlights of his work over the past two decades.

Alongside his more serious jobs, the package showed McRoberts running in marathons and strutting on a catwalk. “You haven’t changed much at all,” declared weather presenter Ingrid Hipkiss, back in the studio. She and Hayes presented McRoberts with a large bunch of flowers and a framed certificate commemorating his long service.

It turns out parents shouldn t be washing their baby s dummies as thoroughly as they think.
According to a new study from the Journal of Allery and Clinical immunology sterilising dummies with antiseptic solution has been linked to children developing food allergies.
Researcher Victoria Soriano says the link is due to sterilisation killing good bacteria as well as the bad. These findings support the growing recognition of the importance of good bacteria, known as ‘microbiome’, in our mouth and gut on healthy growth and development, she said.
However, giving your baby s dummy a rinse under hot water is still completely fine, adding that the study should not discourage the cleaning of dummies, as this is a vital step in keeping a child safe from the more immediate risk of infectious diseases.
