Single-vehicle crash in Halton Hills leaves one dead

  TORONTO Police in Halton Region say that a single-vehicle collision has left a Toronto man dead. It happened in the area of Number 5 Sideroad and Trafalgar Road in Halton Hills at around 5:30 p.m. “Emergency services personnel responded to the scene and found a vehicle on its roof, in the ditch, on the north side (of) 5 Sideroad,” Halton police said in a statement. “Two occupants from the vehicle were located at the scene.” A 42-year-old man who was riding as a passenger in the front seat was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. An 18-year-old woman from Brampton was driving the vehicle and sustained minor injuries. She was transported to hospital as a precaution.
