Rep. Brad Buckley, R-Salado, will be at the Stonetree Golf Club in Killeen from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday giving an update on the 87th Legislative Session.
The event at the golf club, 1600 Stonetree Drive, is being hosted by the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce.
It is free and open to the public. Dress is casual outdoor. Beverages will be available for purchase.
As the elected official for Texas House District 54, Buckley represents most of Killeen and all of Harker Heights, Nolanville and Lampasas County.
Harker Heights Chamber to host golf tournament June 11 in Killeen
The 27th Annual Harker Heights Chamber Golf Tournament will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 11 at Stonetree Golf Course in Killeen.

Grand prayer reopening to be held for Killeen businesses in June
On June 5, a grand prayer reopening will be held at the Village Square, 2904 E. Stan Schlueter Loop, in Killeen from 1 to 5 p.m.
There will be free hot dogs, chips and drinks for the first 250 guests, and free Jamaican ice for the first 50 children, as well as giveaways and activities for the kids and more.
