While the weather for the beginning of this week has started off mild, by the end of the week local forecasters predict rain and winds, and the possibility of snow in higher elevations.
The National Weather Service predicts rain showers on Thursday with wind gusts that night up to 22 miles per hour. Rain is expected to continue into Friday with gusts up to 32 miles per hour.
“Next chance for widespread rain is Thursday night/Friday/Fri night into Saturday morning,” the service said on Twitter. “Rain could be heavy at times with over an inch possible!”
