City Notes: Improvements on the way for Taylor Farm and other New Albany parks This 100-acre park, which will be on East Dublin-Granville Road between the Target store in Hamilton Quarter and Harlem Road, is a win for the community in many different ways. First, completion of the first phase of Taylor Farm Park this year ensures even more parkland near the town center for New Albany and surrounding residents. This park will take advantage of the area’s natural beauty, with approximately 3 miles of leisure trails allowing people to enjoy the area’s woods, wetlands, prairies and natural stream corridors.

SPCA Serving Erie County offers free pet adoptions for military members

A popular program that based on research that shows pet ownership can postively impact a people who have served our country is back at the SPCA Serving Erie County.  Each Memorial Day, Pets and Vets offers free animal adoptions to anyone currently serving in the military or who have served in the past. While your mind may automatically go to dogs and puppies when you hear about this promotion, it is extended to all animals at the SPCA, from farm animals to exotic birds.

Free Dogs, Cats, Exotic Animals + More For Vets This Week There is a program that the SPCA does every Memorial Day for anyone who is serving our country or anyone who HAS served our country. There are so many benefits that have been shows when our military men and women receive from getting a pet. The Erie County SPCA offers free pets for them. But, don t think just a dog or a cat. You can pick out a dog, cat, parrot, exotic or farm animal.ANY ANIMAL they offer. VETS AND PETS  Monday, May 24th through Monday, May 31st  The location on Harlem Road in West Seneca will be open for the free adoption except for Sunday and Monday they will be closed.
