A 31-year-old Willimantic man was sentenced to nearly three years in prison Tuesday for his role in what authorities described as a “heroin distribution ring.”
Miguel Ceballo-Cruz was sentenced to 33 months in prison followed by four years supervised release in a video appearance before U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea, a press release from the U.S attorney’s office for the District of Connecticut said.
Ceballo-Cruz pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin on Oct. 1, 2019 a news release said.
