Teen wounded in 2017 New Britain police shooting arrested on robbery charges

An 18-year-old Windsor Locks resident wounded in a police-involved shooting in New Britain several years ago was arrested this week on robbery charges, police said.
Authorities said they have been looking for the teen since he missed court dates in October 2020.
Caleb Tisdol was taken into custody Monday by New Britain police. He is being held at Hartford Correctional Center, according to state Department of Correction records.
New Britain police did not respond to request for additional information on Tisdol’s arrest, but Windsor Locks police said on Wednesday that the search for Tisdol “went on for quite a while.” Windsor Locks police said he was taken into custody without incident.
