Snowfall totals are starting to come in, with one spot in Franklin County receiving a foot of snow.
However, some of the inch counts were reported while the precipitation was still falling. The National Weather Service is still receiving reports of inch totals, and the information will be updated later in the day, lead meteorologist Greg DeVoir said.
Harrisburg International Airport set a couple of records with the storm.
It broke the daily record for Dec. 16 with 9.3 inches, the National Weather Service says. The old record was 6 inches in 1973.
The storm ranked fourth for the highest one-day total snowfall for December in Harrisburg, the National Weather Service says. The No. 1 record was 10.1 inches on Dec. 23, 1963.

A potential nor easter could deliver the first major snowfall of the winter for central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, according to meteorologists.
While the National Weather Services says a medium probability exists for a plowable snow, AccuWeather.com meteorologist Randy Adkins says if the storm sets up perfectly, the snowfall could be in the double digits.
Computer models are trending toward a snowstorm for the area on Wednesday, National Weather Service meteorologist Rachel Gutierrez said. Forecasters still don t know the exact track of the storm, but they should have a better understanding of it by Sunday.
