A building on Market Street in Harrisburg is expected to be redeveloped into an apartment building.
Harristown Enterprises, the owner of Strawberry Square, plans to redevelop the 50,750-square-foot building at 112 Market St.
The first floor will remain a banking branch for BB&T, which will later be renamed Truist. The second floor will be occupied by offices. The six upper floors (3 through 8) will be transformed into about 30 one- and two-bedroom apartments.

HARRISBURG, Pa. A new COVID-19 testing site will open today, March 16, in Harrisburg at the old Hallmark inside Strawberry Square Mall. This is part of a collaboration between the county, state officials, Harristown Enterprises, and Park Harrisburg.
The testing site will be open through April 10: Tuesdays-Fridays 9 am-5 pm, and Saturdays 10 am-5 pm. Anyone is eligible to get tested. There is no pre-registrations, testing will be on a first-come first-serve basis, with the capacity to test up to 450 people everyday. You are asked to bring a photo I.D. if you have one. Test results are expected to take two to seven days.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health and AMI Expeditionary Healthcare are partnering with the City of Harrisburg to open a four-week COVID-19 testing site in Strawberry Square, according to a press release issued Friday by Strawberry Square.
The testing site will be open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from March 16 through April 10. It will be located in a vacant retail space in Strawberry Square, inside the Walnut Street entrance, organizers said in a press release.
