KLKN-TV July 24, 2021 4:13 pm SARPY COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) – The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a vehicle crash that killed one and injured three others Friday night. Deputies responded to a head-on collision crash around 7:45 p.m. between two vehicles on Harrison Street, just east of 162nd Avenue. According to SCSO, a sergeant came upon the crash seconds after it happened, and prior to any 911 calls. Authorities said, the head-on collision occurred between a GMC Sierra pickup and a Kia Optima sedan. The driver of the pickup was identified as 32-year-old Brian Donica of Sarpy County. A younger male passenger was also in the pickup at the time of the crash. Both Donica and the younger male were transported by Omaha Fire & Rescue to Nebraska Medicine with minor injuries.
