The All-Australian certainties and tough calls at the halfway point
By
What does the All-Australian team look like at the halfway point of the season?
Gerard Whateley, Anthony Hudson, Gerard Healy and Jordan Lewis discussed all the big elements of it on
AFL Nation on Friday night.
Backline
Whateley: “It looks like it’s out of four. Harris Andrews, Jacob Weitering, Steven May and Jake Lever.”
Hudson: “Do you pick two or three?”
Lewis: “I think Harris Andrews and Steven May for me are a lock. The difference between them and Weitering is Andrews impacts other contests. May impacts other contests. Weitering is more on the key forward and defends by himself a lot.”

Harry McKayâs management is set to hold âcrucial meetingsâ with Carlton in the coming weeks as the club looks to lock away one of their prized assets, according to
SEN Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund.
The 23-year-old gun forward is out of contract at the end of the season, with McKay remaining ârelaxedâ about where discussions currently sit.
âI want to talk about Coleman Medal leader Harry McKay,â he said on
SEN Breakfast.
âHis management will hold crucial meetings on his future next week with the Blues, the club and the player all wanted to get the first half of the season under the belt before talks ramp up on this new deal.
