FA Youth Cup: Parsons double sees Town comfortably into round four
SWINDON Town Under 18s booked their spot in the FA Youth Cup fourth round thanks to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bromley at the County Ground on Tuesday. Two goals from Harry Parsons – and a long-range free-kick from Max Whitfield – put the hosts ahead at the break, but all of that came after Bromley’s Liam Vincent had his early penalty well saved by Kai Storr. The second half failed to live up to the standard of excitement in the first, but it mattered not to David Farrell’s boys as they booked their place in round four against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
