As the controversy over a Government-funded, gang-led drug rehab programme continues to rage, Judith Collins is calling on Jacinda Ardern to rule out a separate justice system for Māori. Her challenge to the Prime Minister is part of National s demand the debate series, which was launched earlier this month and has put the spotlight on the controversial He Puapua report.  The independent report was commissioned by the Government in 2019 and laid out a roadmap for how New Zealand can meet its obligations under the United Nations Declaration of Indigenous People, which was signed by Collins own party in 2010. So Harry Tam is an undercover Nazi now is he?

Labour MP Michael Wood has condemned honorary lifetime Mongrel Mob member Harry Tam after a video surfaced showing him using a Nazi salute, but he wouldn’t rule out working with him.  The video, which was shared by the National Party on Wednesday, shows Tam telling a group of Mongrel Mob members not to vote for National. He also used the words sieg heil – a victory salute used by Nazis at political rallies.  During an interview with The AM Show on Friday, fill-in host Ryan Bridge asked Wood to react to the video.  “Well, it’s a guy mouthing off about politics on social media so that’s not especially novel and like about 75 percent of New Zealanders last year he didn’t support the National Party. He’s entitled to his views, I obviously don’t agree with a lot of his views and his activities but I’m not particularly sure what the story is here, ” Wood said.

Police Minister reveals latest rise in gang numbers, but says it's 'not something that's useful'

Police Minister reveals latest rise in gang numbers, but says it s not something that s useful Newshub 6 hrs ago © Video - Newshub Nation; Images - Newshub/Newshub Nation Poto Williams on Newshub Nation. Police Minister Poto Williams says the number of names on the police s gang list has gone up about 60 since they were last publicly released in May. Either the numbers have increased significantly again or the Government is trying to covertly adjust the way they measure the number of gang members in New Zealand, said police spokesperson Simeon Brown.  This deliberate attempt by the Police Minister to withhold the data shows that she and Labour do not want those numbers out in the public domain.
