Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock were up with the larks this morning as they got their daily dose of exercise.
The Prime Minister continued his health kick as he worked up a sweat performing lunges, stretches and sprints with his personal trainer Harry Jameson and dog, Dilyn.
And Health Secretary Matt Hancock got the week off to a similarly healthy start as he beamed for the cameras while running through the capital today.
This comes after the PM suggested that lockdown exercise rules could be relaxed to ease the pressure on people s physical and mental health.
Boris Johnson has asked officials to draw up options for a slight easing of the rules, which currently limit people to meeting one other person for outdoor exercise once a day.

The PM has been trying to lose weight after Covid-19 left him in intensive care last year and he has attributed his difficulty in fighting off the virus with being ‘too fat’ (having weighed 15st 7lb before his admission to hospital). ‘Obesity is one of the real co-morbidity factors. Losing weight, frankly, is one of the ways you can reduce your own risk from coronavirus,’ he has said.
In an effort to practice what he preaches, Mr Johnson has significantly increased his levels of exercise, including runs around the gardens of Buckingham Palace (sometimes with rescue dog Dilyn) and he has taken on a personal trainer, Harry Jameson (the trainer to footballer Wayne Bridge and TV presenter Laura Whitmore). Boris Johnson s personal trainer took a break from getting the Prime Minister fit to host a pregnancy workout class with Love Island s Laura Whitmore.
Harry Jameson hit the headlines in August after he was pictured running around a central London park with Mr Johnson.
Mr Jameson, 38, who shows off his jetset lifestyle with glamorous wife Amy to his 37,000 Instagram followers, is a trainer to the stars and has worked with celebrities including Ms Whitmore, Hollywood actor Dolph Lundgren and former footballer Wayne Bridge.
Today, he was joined on an online class by the pregnant Ms Whitmore and shared tips on how to relax your body while keeping it energised.
