Court will decide if Superior Court judge erred by striking down 2017 law as unconstitutional Share Updated: 10:17 PM EDT Jul 1, 2021 The state Supreme Court served notice late Thursday that on Friday it will issue an opinion on whether a 2017 Republican-backed state law requiring people who register to vote within 30 days of an election to provide clear documentation they are residents of New Hampshire.Senate Bill 3, as the law is known by its former legislative number, has been under a legal challenge virtually since it was enacted four years ago.
