Here s a closer look at plans and reaction from school districts across the greater Seacoast: Dover Schools  return plan The Dover School District had been in a hybrid-model so far, with the number of in-person days varying by grade level and school, and a set target date to return to five-day learning May 3.  Planning has been ongoing to transition the Dover Middle School and Dover High School from the hybrid model to five days per week. Dover elementary schools have been planning for the scheduled return of virtual students electing to return for in-person learning May 3. Now the district has to move up these plans.

Hampton schools to return to 5-day in-person learning schedule

HAMPTON  Students in the Hampton School District will be returning to in-person learning five days a week. The School Board voted unanimously last week to move forward with a plan presented by the school administration to return students full-time in phases starting with Centre School, kindergarten through second grade, on March 22.  If all goes well, Marston School, grades 3-5, will be back full-time April 12 and Hampton Academy, grades 6-8, May 3.  “We are emphasizing a gradual return to school in hopes for a better plan in the fall for all students to return,” said SAU 90 Superintendent Lois Costa.  The board decision comes after a recent parent/guardian survey which showed 50.4% wanted their students back in the classroom full-time.
