The man has been charged with assault and operating a vessel dangerously. He is due to appear in Hamilton District Court on Wednesday. The woman was charged with common assault and is due to appear in the Thames District Court on Thursday February 18. This arrest comes after a man was filmed ramming another vessel in a boat-rage incident on January 23. Video of the incident on social media shows the man ramming an aluminium boat with his inflatable, which begins to deflate.

Police recovered some stolen property when they searched a Hamilton address on Saturday, a statement said.
