CINCINNATI â Police arrested a former Cincinnati City Council member Wednesday and accused her of obstructing the arrest of a suspect in an Indiana traffic crash death case.
Yumorria Laketa Cole known publicly as Laketa Cole provided her Bond Hill home as a hiding place for William Cromwell, wanted by Indiana police for causing death when operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to an affidavit filed Wednesday in Hamilton County Municipal Court. She then told officers he was not there when they arrived looking for him, the affidavit states.

(Cincinnati, OH) - Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley has announced the people he wants to serve on the Economic Development Reform Panel.
During 2020 three members of Cincinnati City Council were charged by the federal government for their alleged roles in separate corruption cases. Former Democratic councilwoman Tamaya Dennard was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for wire fraud. Republican councilman Jeff Pastor is charged with bribery after his arrest in November. Democratic councilman P.G. Sittenfeld was also arrested in November for alleged bribery.
Retired Hamilton County Common Pleas Court judge Ann Marie Tracey has been chosen to chair the panel.

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bond was set at $1 million Monday for a man charged with murdering his girlfriend whose 3-year-old son remains missing.
Desean Brown, 20, pleaded not guilty during the brief hearing in Hamilton County Municipal Court.
Brown was arrested over the weekend and charged with killing Nyteisha Lattimore, 29.
Cincinnati police wrote in a sworn statement that Brown stabbed her multiple times with âan unknown edged weaponâ at a Melrose Avenue apartment in Walnut Hills on Friday.
