Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming adaptation of
Dune isn’t just getting one soundtrack release. In fact, it’s getting three. Which sounds like a lot until you realize all of them will feature music from Hans Zimmer.
/Film, we learned that WaterTower Music announced is releasing three separate music albums “from and in celebration of”
Dune. Each features Hans Zimmer’s original work for the film.
The first two hits stores ahead of the movie’s US debut on October 22. And the final album premieres the day
Dune arrives in theaters. Notably, the soundtracks include:
The Dune Sketchbook (Music from the Soundtrack): “Comprised of extended, immersive musical explorations of the Dune film score.” Additionally, both are available in Standard and Dolby Atmos Music configurations. The album is Zimmer’s first soundtrack released in Dolby Atmos Music. The Sketchbook is available on September 3.
