Don K. Wilkinson, 71, of Payette Idaho took leave of this world on March 31, 2021, at his home, amid family and friends, following a lengthy battle with cancer. After retiring, he settled in western Idaho in 2007. Over the years, many miles, and challenges, the âbig guyâ stockpiled many long-term friends and associates while journeying his way home.
Born to Don and Pauline Wilkinson in April of 1949, in Hanford, California, Don grew up on a diversified farm in the Guernsey area while attending Lakeside Elementary and Hanford High School. Following graduation from high school, he obtained a degree in General Agriculture/Biology from Fresno State University in 1971 and a Lifetime Teaching Credential through U.C. Davis. Don taught high school Agriculture and Technology in California, Oregon and Idaho.

Lindsey was born on November 30, 1980 to Ronald Hedges and Norma Hedges in Hanford, CA
She attended Kit Carson Elementary School K-8th grade, and attended Hanford Highschool and graduated in 1998.
She was employed by the State of California for the last 15 years, and made many life-long friendships during her time there.
Lindsey had an attraction to light. When you asked her what her favorite color was, she would reply the colors of the sunset. You could always find her taking countless numbers of pictures of the sky on a beautiful day.
Her greatest achievements in life were her children, Kyle and Sydney. She loved being a Mom, and some of her best times spent were beach trips with her kids. Lindsey always supported her kids passions and hobbies. Whether she was feeling well or not, she never missed a single cheerleading event or basketball game. She was always the loudest Mom cheering in the stands.
Owen cast off his earthly bonds to be with the Lord on March 5, 2021, after struggling with a short illness. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments. Owen loved the Lord and was committed to his faith. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church, attending Mass at The Shaver Lake Catholic Service, where he served as an Usher.
Owen was born on January 22, 1943, to Owen Schales Sr. and Era Murphy Schales, (both deceased) in Hanford. His family was rounded out by two older brothers, C.M. (deceased & wife Clara), and Bobby Schales (wife Ruth) and a younger sister, Janet Schales (Joe Freitas).
