DRIVERS are being warned of three months of delays as a bridge over the M4 is repaired. Highways England will be carrying out a full bridge deck refurbishment on the Broome Manor Lane overbridge that crosses the motorway between junctions 15 and 16. The road and footway will be closed to all traffic, including cyclists and walkers, while M4 lanes could be closed overnight while the work takes place. The work includes localised concrete repairs to deck and edge beams, replacing bridge joints and full waterproofing replacement over the structure. It is expected to take around three months to complete. A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Some overnight lane closures will also be required on the M4 to carry out underbridge concrete repairs.
