The World Health Organization (WHO) has projected that the number of people likely to have a disabling hearing loss could rise from 466 million in 2018 to 933 million by 2050.

The investment in preventative hearing health provides equal opportunities between individuals, allowing economies to grow and improve social welfare.
Recently, Brunei participated in a four-day APEC Symposium on ‘Early Hearing Damage Prevention Due to Recreational Noise Exposure in Young People’.
