More Christians Killed In Nigeria Over Christmas

Violence against Christians in Nigeria continued over the Christmas period, with five believers slain by Islamist militants.
Release International reports that terror group Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), has claimed responsibility for the killings.
They released a video saying the deaths were a “warning to Christians in all parts of the world and those in Nigeria”.
The five executed Christians are understood to have been among 11 people kidnapped on Christmas Day from Garkida town in north-east Nigeria.
The killings echo a similar execution of 11 Christian aid workers in Nigeria on Christmas Day 2019.

Seven of the 10 coalminers who were killed in Balochistanâs Machh belonged to Afghanistanâs Daikundi province, the Afghan consulate in Quetta said Friday.
The Afghan coalminers were identified as Chaman Ali, Aziz, Naseem, Abdullah, Sher Muhammad, Hassan Jan and Anwar Ali.
Four of them belonged to Shahristan district while the others hailed from Miramor, the Afghan consulate said in its letter to Pakistani authorities. At least four of them had refugee cards.

QUETTA: At least two persons died and eight others sustained injuries in a blast near Aftab Football Stadium in Panjgur district on Saturday. According to police, the blast occurred when people were coming to the stadium.
As a result, two persons died on the spot, while eight others sustained injuries.
Law enforcement agencies reached the site and shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital.
The bodies were identified as Hassan Jan and Jan Rahimjan, while the injured were Muhammad Sameer, Muhammad Zahid, Jalal, Muhammad Jan, Mehmood, Asad, Muhammad Ali and Murad Saeed. Further investigation is underway.
