Havre Public Schools holding summer learning program   Staff and wire report In the wake of remote learning and reduced in-class learning days during the COVID-19 pandemic, Havre Public Schools is holding a summer learning program for elementary and middle school students starting June 7. Participating students will have the opportunity to receive breakfast on site and will be able to take lunch in a grab-and-go fashion. Transportation will be provided by Havre Public Schools if necessary, a letter to parents from Superintendent Craig Mueller said.  Mueller told Havre Daily News that Havre High School will have its usual summer school, utilizing Montana Digital Academy.

Former Havre Daily News publisher Stacy Mantle, who had worked at the newspaper for 20 years starting in graphics design for the advertising department, and her husband, Bob Mantle, who works for BNSF Railway, purchased the printing business April 1 and renamed it back to the original Hill County Printing.

The original version of this story used the wrong day, Thursday, to say when he agreed to be interviewed although the reporter understood the intervie.
