TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) â Season tickets are on sale now for the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestraâs upcoming concert season. The 96th season, title âSights, Sounds and Storiesâ kicks off Sept. 25 with âScheherazadeâs Stories.â
âAs I enter my 25th season with the THSO, I am delighted to offer spectacular music that I believe will appeal to the first-time concert attender as well as to the seasoned concert-goer,â artistic director and conductor David Bowden said. âI invite you to come hear this fabulous professional musical ensemble that plays all styles of music and that is located right here in Terre Haute. TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– Tayler Bass is a 2020 Indiana State University graduate She said after not being able to attend commencement in person last year due to the pandemic,
She was pleased to hear that the university decided to allow in person ceremonies for 2021.
“With the way that things were left with college and graduating. It just kind of felt like an unclosed chapter,” Bass explained. “So this ceremony is kind of just like it’s an ending to something that I feel like I never really got. It’s a way to truly say goodbye.”

TERRE HAUTE, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)
– To comply with COVID-19 protocols, Ivy Tech Terre Haute will host two commencement ceremonies, and tickets will be required for guest attendance.
The School of Health Sciences and School of Nursing commencement ceremony will be Wednesday, May 5. All other graduates will attend the commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 6.
Ceremonies will be held at 7 p.m. at the Indiana State University Hulman Center. Both ceremonies will also be livestreamed.
Because capacity for Hulman Center is reduced due to COVID-19 restrictions, each graduate who RSVPed can reserve a maximum of four guest tickets to the appropriate college ceremony. Graduates will need to reserve tickets for their guests.

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) - We now have the details on this year s graduation ceremonies for the Vigo County School Corporation.
Students at all three Vigo County high schools will have their commencements at the Hulman Center on Sunday, May 30.
West Vigo High School - 1 pm
Terre Haute South Vigo High School - 3 pm
Terre Haute North Vigo High School - 6 pm
