Harron Homes helps wildlife at Thoresby Vale development in Edwinstowe by installing bat and bird boxes

A housebuilder is helping to support wildlife at one of its developments by installing bat and bird boxes.
Harron Homes is regenerating the former Thoresby Colliery site at Edwinstowe with its Thoresby Vale development.
The site is surrounded by woodland, and 14 bat boxes being installed into the homes at Thoresby Vale have been chosen to suit pipistrelle bats, which have been recorded in the area.

The population of the bats has declined dramatically across the UK in the last few decades.
