Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Official Title and Logo Revealed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Official Title and Logo Revealed Ahead of its release in 2022, the official logo and title for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 have been revealed. The official title and logo have been revealed for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 sequel. On the official Twitter account for the movie, a promotional video was posted touting the sequel s title as, you guessed it, Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The 2 used for the official logo is also noticeably double-tailed, suggesting that Sonic s pal Tails will play a big part in the new movie. You can check out the video below.

Toshihiro Nagoshi to step down from Sega board of directors

Veteran Yakuza producer and executive director Toshihiro Nagoshi will be stepping down from Sega s board of directors on April 1. He will also be leaving his role as Sega s chief creative officer, but will however remain at the company as creative director, Kotaku reported. The Yakuza franchise had a successful 2020, with its remastered collection making it to the top ten in the UK charts and its latest entry, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, selling over 450,000 units in Asia in just a few months. This good performance boosted Sega s financial results for the 12 months ended March 31, 2020, with full-year sales reaching $3.4 billion. Sega also announced a partnership with 1212 Entertainment and Wild Sheep Content to produce a new film based on the Yakuza franchise last September.

Toshihiro Nagoshi to Retire from CCO Role But Will Stay at Sega

By  January 29, 2021 8:27 AM EST Toshihiro Nagoshi will retire from his Chief Creative Officer role but will, needless to say, stay at Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio to work on Yakuza. After a board meeting, Sega published some changes in its director and officer roles on January 29, most notably revealing Yakuza series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi will retire from his CCO (Chief Creative Officer) role at Sega. Toshihiro Nagoshi will stay at Sega as a Creative Director, and will retire as CCO at the beginning of the next fiscal year in Japan, on April 1st, 2021. (Thanks to Famitsu for pointing it out). Yukio Sugino is replacing Toshihiro Nagoshi as new COO.
