The series is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto based on the series composition and scripts by Hayashi Mori. Eiji Abiko is on board with the character designs and LIDEN Films is handling animation production.
The Japanese cast announced so far includes Junya Enoki as Red Blood Cell while Yoko Hikasa is White Blood Cell. Kenjiro Tsuda is serving as the narrator. Additional casting includes Hekiru Shiina as Macrophage, Sarah Emi Bridcutt as Liver Cell, and Daisuke Hirakawa as Brain Cell.
The first series was directed by Kenichi Suzuki based on the series composition by Yuuko Kakihara. Takahiko Yoshida handled the character design and served as the chief animation director with the animation produced by David Production.
