Taylor Agency s legacy of commitment to clients spans four generations

WOOSTER  The coronavirus pandemic isn t the first challenge the Taylor Agency has encountered in its 100-year history. The multigenerational insurance agency celebrated its centennial this year without the fanfare due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions on gatherings. In 1920, A.E. Taylor purchased a real estate and insurance agency owned by Frank Blough renaming the company Bough and Taylor. During the Great Depression, Taylor bought out his partner and renamed the business the Taylor Agency. The business, located today at 615 Riffel Road, is now in its fourth generation with Austin Taylor as principal and employee benefits. Austin Taylor said he is proud to be a part of a multigenerational business, which is becoming increasingly rare.
